Terms of use · Last updated 24 September 2026 - What this site is for, and what it is not.
The checks here give you a starting point, not a professional opinion. This page says plainly what you can rely on, what you cannot, and who is responsible for what. If something is unclear, email info@successifymedia.com.au and we will answer in writing.
Using this site
These terms apply to this website and to every diagnostic, scorecard and calculator on it. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the checks.
The site is published by Successify Media, a registered business name, ABN 40 676 267 676, based in Wollongong, NSW. Separate terms apply to paid engagements; those are set out in the written proposal for the work, and a proposal prevails over this page wherever the two differ.
What the diagnostics are — and are not
Every check on this site scores the answers you type in. That is the whole of it. Nothing inspects your systems, reads your tenant, tests your website, scans your network or verifies a single thing you tell it.
The result is generated automatically in your browser from your own answers. Nobody at Successify Media reviews your answers, and nobody sees your result unless you choose to send it to us.
So, plainly:
- A result is not an audit. It is a structured self-assessment, scored against rules we wrote.
- A clear result is not a clearance. A score that says you look fine means your answers looked fine. It is not evidence that you are compliant, secure or well governed.
- A flagged risk is not a finding. It is a prompt to look properly at something, with a qualified person.
- The cyber and guardrails checks test nothing. They are questionnaires. They do not probe, scan or assess any system you own.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, accounting, insurance, cybersecurity or compliance advice, and nothing here creates a professional or advisory relationship between us.
This matters most where we write about the law. Our material on the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the automated decision-making transparency obligation commencing 10 December 2026, and related reform is general information about rules that apply differently to every business depending on its size, turnover, sector and what it actually does with data. Whether an obligation applies to you, and what you must do about it, is a question for your own lawyer. Do not treat a number of days on a countdown, or a tier on a result page, as a determination that the law does or does not apply to you.
Your numbers, and what we do with them
Every figure a check reports back is calculated from what you entered. If your inputs are estimates, so are the outputs. We do not verify them and we cannot.
- Cost and saving figures are ranges, not quotes. They are indicative, deliberately conservative, and given to help you decide whether something is worth investigating.
- Third-party prices move. Where we cite a published list price for software we do not sell, it was correct when written and may not be current. Check with the vendor.
- Our own prices are indicative. A scope and a price become binding only in a written proposal signed by both of us.
- Hour and effort estimates are founder estimates based on our experience, labelled as such, and not a benchmarked industry figure.
Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate and available, and we update it as things change. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at the moment you read it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any check at any time, including ones you have used before.
Where a check saves your progress so you can return to it, that information is held in your own browser. Clearing your browser data removes it, and we cannot recover it for you.
Decisions are yours
You are responsible for what you do after reading a result. The checks are designed to help you ask a better question, not to answer it for you. Before you act on anything here — spending money, cancelling licences, changing a policy, telling a board or a regulator that you are or are not exposed — get advice from someone qualified who knows your circumstances.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Successify Media is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on anything in it. That includes lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, wasted expenditure, a regulatory or contractual consequence, and any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
Where liability can be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, the paragraphs above are read subject to it.
Third-party tools and links
We link to other organisations, cite their published material, and use third-party services to run parts of this site — including Formspree for the contact form, Google Analytics for measurement, and Calendly for booking. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. What we collect and where it goes is set out on our trust and privacy page.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — the writing, the checks and the way they score, the design, and the research behind the articles — is ours. You are welcome to use the checks for your own business, to keep and share your own results, and to quote us with attribution.
Please do not republish the checks as your own, embed them in another product, or use this material to build a competing service. If you would like to use something here in a way this does not cover, email info@successifymedia.com.au — the answer is often yes.
Changes to these terms
We update this page as the site changes. The date at the top is the date of the current version, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
