Privacy policy

Successify Media is a registered business name, ABN 40 676 267 676, based in Wollongong, NSW. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy covers this website and the way we work with clients.

What this website collects

  • Contact form. Name, email, company, phone and your message. The form is processed by Formspree, Inc. (United States), which stores submissions and forwards them to our mailbox. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for up to two years for our records.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and clicks on calls to action. It sets cookies and sends data to Google, which may process it outside Australia. We do not upload personal information to Google Analytics and we do not use advertising features. You can block it with a browser extension or by refusing cookies.
  • Booking. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy.
  • Server logs. Our web host records the IP address, time and page requested for each visit, kept for security and retained for a short period.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, scope and deliver engagements, invoice, and understand which pages people use. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for direct marketing without consent.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@successifymedia.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Data handling during an engagement

  • We collect only what the scoped work needs, and we write down what that is before we start.
  • Access to your systems is read-only wherever possible, time-limited, and granted to a named account, never a shared one.
  • Access is removed and any credentials are rotated at handover. The handover pack lists what was accessed and when.
  • Client data is stored in Australian-region cloud storage under multi-factor authentication. Nothing is kept on unencrypted devices.
  • Working files are deleted 90 days after the engagement closes unless you ask us to keep them or the law requires it.
  • Documented assumptions and data flows are part of every deliverable, so you can see what was used for what.

AI use disclosure

We help businesses adopt AI, so we say how we use it ourselves.

  • We use two AI vendors' tools in our own work: OpenAI (ChatGPT and Codex) and Anthropic (Claude and Claude Code). We do not use other AI tools on client work, and we will update this list before we do.
  • AI-assisted work is a draft until a person has checked it. Every deliverable is reviewed and approved by Manish Kumar before it reaches you, and the person who approves it is accountable for it.
  • Naming these tools describes what we use. It does not mean either vendor endorses Successify Media or has reviewed our work.
  • Your data is never entered into a consumer AI account. Where these tools touch client data at all, we use business accounts whose terms exclude training on your data, and the proposal names which tool is used for what.
  • Every AI engagement leaves a register, an owner and a plain-language policy behind. We apply the same rules to our own practice.
  • Our guardrails work references the Australian Government's Guidance for AI Adoption and the Privacy Act's automated decision-making transparency rules that commence 10 December 2026. It is practical guidance, not legal advice.

Boundaries, to protect both sides

  • We do not implement invasive tracking without a clear purpose and disclosure.
  • We do not claim compliance certifications unless they are verified in writing.
  • We do not recommend tools that create unnecessary data risk for your context.
  • We do not take on work we think you do not need. The honest no is part of the service.
